Owned and Operated by local Petaluma resident, Jean Grant-Sutton, BodyWorks opened its doors in February 2003 to provide a place that would give people of all shapes, sizes, colors and ages an opportunity to learn and practice the healing art of Yoga and other forms of movement that lead to wellness and give tools for managing the high levels of stress that we live with in our Western fast-paced lifestyle.

Yoga with Nicole joined BodyWorks in February 2003 to continue sharing this vision of health and well being for all with classes in Ashtanga Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, Mantra and Meditation classes.

kundalini yoga - fridays at 5:30pm

A 75 minute class in traditional Kundalini Yoga as it was taught by Yogi Bhajan, PhD and Master of Kundalini Yoga. This is a self-paced yoga and is generally great for everyone in average good health. Ages 14+ appropriate. Dress compfortably and be prepared for a moderate work out as well as meditaiton. Ashtanga-vinyasa yoga - sundays at 9:00am

A 90 minute class in traditional Ashtanga-Vinyasa Yoga as it was taught by Sri. K. Patthabi Jois (master). This class tailors to the athletic yogi looking for a challenge. Class opens with Sun Salutation warm ups and continues through the first basic 72 postures of the Primary Series including standing and seated postures, backbends, arm balances, and inversions.
