"Kali Ma"
With over two decades of experience as a Wellness Educator, my work focuses on changing the way treat ourselves, each other, and this planet.
The dystopian times we live in now are not only a testimony to our responsibility as stewards of the Earth and keepers of the Peace - they are truly confusing and frightening.
We know that our relationship with the world reflects our relationship with ourselves; and that how we treat, nurture, and love ourselves ripples out to the way we treat, nurture, and love others.

Kali Ma (or Maa Kali) is a powerful, complex Hindu Mother Goddess symbolizing creation, preservation, and destruction, time, and liberation.
Known as the Dark Mother, she is often depicted with a fearsome appearance (dark skin, skull garland, disheveled hair) - representing fierce maternal love and spiritual transformation, she helps devotees destroy ego and illusions for growth.
Kali transcends duality, embodies nature's fierce cycle, and is worshipped as a protector and guide to enlightenment throughout India.

Since 2002, I have been working one-on-one guiding people to look at their self-image, acknowledge inner wounds, and heal their hearts.
As a Hospice Grief Support Volunteer, I am trained to hold space, listen, and offer support for those needing a personal connection, coach, or guide through life’s most challenging times.
Working with individuals, small groups, my Healing the Wounds of Life program supports deep personal healing, emotional well-being, self-advocacy, connection, and community.

Working closely non-profit organizations like Creating Our Future, my goal is to create the sacred space and provide the guidance that is needed for healing to truly occur.
From classes to coaching, I offer womb-to-tomb support for your life journey. My programs will help you to improve the quality of your life - with tools, techniques, and teachings that empower advocacy & action.
Whether your goals are physical, mental/emotional, or spiritual, I’m here to help you envision the change, see success, and take that next step in transforming your world.

Inside of us, Kali represents the power to move through the dark night of our own fears and anxieties. As an embodiment of strength and fortitude and the keeper of hope that we too can fight our way into the light, she is fierce because sometimes we all must be fierce defenders of the light, fiercely loyal, and fiercely loving.
I want to help you foster a loving, joy-filled life – where you feel confident knowing that you can assist in bringing balance to any situation you may be facing. No matter how you choose to drop-in, know that Kali cares. And that she is here to see you through to the other side.
Through my own experiences, I now understand the meaning of the goddess Kali and why my fellow ashram yogi's chose this beloved nickname for me.
She Is a warrior who slays our demons and frees the soul, the protective midwife carrying us into the next phase of our inner evolution, the fierce mother and protector that all of us children need from time to time. Her skin colored black, she has consumed all the darkness and negativity of the universe, leaving nothing but the bliss of the Inner Self.

What clients say about Yoga with Nicole
So many teachers just look at yoga as a mere physical discipline and I was happy to see her so gracefully integrate spirituality and inspiration into not only the beginning of her class but she artfully interwove it through the class as well as the ending. I really loved her style of blending so many different types of yoga...

She is an excellent teacher. She combines a serious interest in Yoga philosophy and concern for the safe progress of students to lead classes accessible to all levels of practice. She does not rely on all sun salutations, all the time, but thoughtfully presents a varied and interesting program every time...
